This is the picture from Jetpack depicting the increase in my blog’s traffic.
Last month I participated in a Blogtober Challenge. One blog post per day, every day during the month of October. It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what may have caused an increase in traffic. However, I think I’ve narrowed it down to one of two aspects that were different than what I was doing before. I think that the first item is the one simple thing that you can change to grow your blog’s traffic. The 2nd point is brought to your attention because one of these two aspects may have caused a huge increase in traffic.
For Pinterest enthusiasts, you’ve probably seen it several times that you need to place your pins in the relevant board first. But people like me that are a little stubborn at times and wanting to try things my own way, don’t listen to the advice of others, and try to learn from my own mistakes.
Instead of pinning my pins directly to my Group Board first. All I did differently than before is the pinning method of saving to the most relevant board first. Secondly, I copied a pin to my Group Board so that it could be seen. It’s hard to believe that about a week ago I was luckily enough to get 20 – 30 pageviews in one day and now the average pageviews is between 140 – 200 per day.
I started using internal linking suggestions to build my Search Engine Optimization (SEO) from the suggestions within the Yoast SEO plug-in.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence too, but when I first started blogging I read that it takes 3 -4 months for SEO to kick-in. Maybe my SEO reached that magic point and it’s taken off.
If you like this post, please Subscribe to my blog. You’ll make my day by turning my blog into a successful blog. I’ve got TrustPulse installed and I’m waiting for someone like you to take the lead to subscribe so that others can follow. I’m sincerely looking for at least one new subscriber per month. Couldn’t you please help me out? Thank you very much!
