In today’s post, Improving your SEO with Keyword Research, we’ll be looking at pins depicting how to do keyword research for your blog or pertain to ways for improving your SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I’ve written a 10-part blogging series on how to keyword research. So this blog post will have almost of those pins in one collective place.

What is Blogtober?
Blogtober is an annual event for bloggers. It’s one of the best ways for how to grow your Blog
It’s a blogging event held in the month of every October where participating bloggers blog every day the entire month! Yes, every day!
The Blogtober Challenge from last year (2020) brought me so much traffic that it has become my number #1 Pinterest Board with over 2 million Pinterest Impressions within the last 90 days. And to this day I still get traffic from those old posts.
Below are the links for the aforementioned 10-part blogging series on keyword research. The last blog post written to wrap up the blogging series was called Holisitic SEO Wrap Up for new bloggers.
- A Keyword Research Glossary for Bloggers
- Need more Traffic Focus on using a Holistic SEO Approach
- The importance of using a Holistic SEO approach
- How to improve your SEO score with Keyword Research

- Using Content in your Keyword Research

- How to do Keyword Research for SEO
I’ve arranged the pins by the post that they’re within, that way you’ll be able to click on the link or the pin (that will point to the actual blog post). Nearly all of the pins within this post are ones that are from other posts. This post is meant to collectively bring most of the pins that deal with Keyword Research or improving your SEO easily to your fingertips.
50 SEO Blogs to Boost your SEO
These two pins are a list of the Top 50 SEO Blogs that I compiled to help you learn more about improving SEO for your blog. Trying to improve your website’s search engine optimization (SEO) is a very important element that bloggers need to learn about ASAP in order to bring traffic to their blog. One of the two best SEO plug-ins that you can get are Yoast SEO (free and premium versions available for both) and Rank Math SEO.
I’ve exclusively used Yoast SEO but it appears that more and more bloggers are using Rank Math because the free version will give you many of the benefits that Yoast SEO Premium has to offer for free. One of the drawbacks about Rank Math is that it might not be reversible once you’ve installed it to go back to Yoast SEO. So do your homework well before install Rank Math.
A Keyword Research Glossary for Bloggers
The terms in this post is a glossary to help understanding keyword research for bloggers. This blog post was the introduction to my 10-part blog series that I’m wrote about and expressed concern that you should have a Holistic SEO approach for your website.

Examining Keyword Research to Optimize your website
I was reading a Facebook post one day about keyword research and it occurred to me that even though blogging for over a year I never investigated examining keyword research to optimize my website.
The contents of this blog post is focusing on keyword research to improve your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and optimize your website. My goal here is to let you know of the various tools that are available and hopefully you’ll select one that you find suits you best.
For example, these are listed in alphabetical order, not in order of favorite programs. Thus being, my favorite program for the powerful and informative things that it offers is SEO Quake and the toolbox that you can get for your browser.
Holistic SEO wrap up for new bloggers
In the post of Holisitic SEO Wrap Up for new bloggers I try to bring all the elements together to highlight some of the salient points from the other blog posts into one cohesive post and this was the final post for the blog series on mastering keyword research – the eleventh article written about mastering keyword research strategy.
How to do a SEO Cornerstone Approach
I was going through the regular routine of checking to ensure that my plug-ins were up-to-date. One of the plug-ins needing an update was Yoast SEO Premium. Now and then, there are minor revision bug fixes such as adding another foreign language. I like to make it a habit to see if there are any major improvements and once again Yoast SEO Premium has stepped up to the plate to make it easier for you to improve your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with what they are calling a SEO Cornerstone Approach.
How to improve your SEO score with Keyword Research
Prior to writing this post about improving your SEO with Keyword Research, I thought that I was doing everything necessary to get the best bullet for my SEO score (preferably green). I’ve never been one to write a post and then ensuring that’s it green or orange. But those little tidbits of traffic with better color SEO bullets are useful indicators (from the Yoast SEO Premium plug-in) to bring more traffic to your website.
One simple change (Keyword Research) has helped change most of my bullets from orange to green by simply updating the keyphrase and by utilizing the KeySearch program. This post was very instrumental in increasing blog traffic to my website. Because prior to that I didn’t pay much attention to keyword research and the color of my posts. Yoast SEO has three colors: Red, Orange, and Green. Rank Math is very similar in design to use and has a lot more free things to offer over the free version of Yoast.
The main difference is that Rank Math uses a score of 0 to 100. So the closer your getting to 100, the better. I’ve personally contemplated making the switch; however, what’s holding me back is that if you install Rank Math and import your Yoast SEO settings it might not be reversible. I’m sticking with the adage of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.” Especially since my traffic has soared to an average of 150 pageviews per day.
Ever since I started blogging (in July of 2020) one of the very first things I tried to improve upon was my Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It wasn’t until a year later (in late July of 2021) that I realized that I wasn’t using SEO on my blog to its fullest extent when I discovered Holistic SEO for how to improve your SEO strategy. Please visit my post called Holisitic SEO wrap up for new bloggers which summarizes ways to improve your SEO.
