How to make money from blogging.
Naturally, one of the main reasons for me to set up this blog (in addition to increasing the numbers of followers to my Pinterest boards) is to make some additional money. Below are some top earning blogs that I’m going to take a look at to get some ideas.

Updated: Sept 12th, 2020: I’m spending more time on writing blogs about Pinterest and there’s one blog that I still need to knock out before revamping this post that deals with how to do an SEO Audit. Doing the internal SEO Audit has been an eye-opening experience. Within 12 hours of making some suggested changes to pages/posts that didn’t have meta descriptions I noticed an immediate difference. One of my popular post pins raised from 149 shares to 216 shares within 12 hours.

According to the graphic below:
- The average annual earnings for a blogger is $24,086
- The average annual earnings for corporate bloggers is $33,557 and
- Half of bloggers paid per cost earn less than $25 on average and less than $1,000 per year.
The common ways to generate revenue are: display ads, affiliate marketing links, and search ads.
