There are so many ways that you can grow your blog and bring traffic to your blog with creative content. This blog post focuses on one of the avenues that I’ve taken to bring traffic to my blog (PinArtwork) which is “creative content.”
A while back I found a post that had a lot of motivational and inspirational quotes (see below). But the post didn’t have any images. It’s been nearly three to four months that I’ve been working on this project and my post (with its images) is nearly completed with an image for almost every quote. I anticipate that the post (300+ Motivational and Inspirational Quotes to help achieve your goals) will be done (in its entirety) by the end of April.
Over time, I noticed that the number of social shares was steadily climbing and I made it a habit to continually try making at least two to three pins per day for the post. When I added new images, the social shares would also raise slightly at the same time. So I knew that I had stumbled on to something very worthwhile to bring traffic to your blog – creating content with fresh new pins! This is the very foundation of what Pinterest has been telling us for months – that it want’s brand new fresh content and the Pinterest Algorithm rewards people for bringing them new content.
I was hoping that making “Faith” pins would also work just as well but they weren’t quite as successful as the Motivational and Inspirational pins post.
Ever since the 5th grade I’ve been a fan of the show Star Trek (both the Original Series and The Next Generation). I used Canva Pro and Adobe Photoshop to make the Star Trek pins.
The point that I’m trying to make is to find a television show that you like (hopefully one that is pretty popular) and to make pins for that series.
Another good way to grow traffic for your blog is by participating in the annual Blogtober event that takes place in the month of October. Bloggers are required to write one post per day, everyday. Yup, every day without exception. It’s quite a daunting task but it can be done if you try to write your blog posts ahead of time and schedule them to post every day apart. With the Blogtober event you can get out of your niche and add some good material to your blog.
I hope that I’ve inspired you in some way to create graphic content for your blog.
Live long and prosper and Happy pinning.
