July 3rd, 2020: For the last two or three days, one of my primary goals is to find a widget or plug-in that pulls information from my Pinterest boards automatically into my blog. I found several articles about what needs to be done but I have to admit when it comes to coding my experience has blind faith in what’s provided to me will work. On one of my pages – Pinterest Buttons (my “old” Home page) I have been trying to detail the progress that I’ve been making for other bloggers that also might want to add Pinterest to their blog. The widgets that I did find weren’t pulling any information automatically into my blog.
Pinterest Widgets to embed Pinterest Boards
Therefore, I took matters into my own hands and I found a video on you-tube that said all I need to do is to create a widget called text and that didn’t work. What did work without too much effort was buttons for Save, Follow-me, Designing a Pin for Pinterest, and manually creating an image of my board and drawing a hyperlink to it. I won’t get into detail here, because like I mentioned the details are on my Pinterest buttons page.
I’m reluctant to give up on this task of finding a widget or plug-in (for free) that will actually pull from Pinterest into the board. If you know of a widget or plug-in for Pinterest please drop me a comment so that I can develop a list of widgets and plug-ins that are dedicated to Pinterest.
Follow my boards pins
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pins and boards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes, look at crafts, find art, or look at ideas for home improvement. This button pack includes 18 buttons and is for Pinterest users and lovers!
