Tailwind Create is an additional tool you can get from Tailwind that lets you design beautiful Pins with different designs and different text and even different colors with the push of a few clicks. You can import or choose pictures you want and the primary title for your pin; then Tailwind Create designs for you great pins that you can edit with few clicks, all different from each other.
This new program allows you to create a batch of beautiful pins in no time at all. In less than a 2-hour time-frame, I was able to create 32 pins (about 1 pin every 4 minutes). This would have normally taken me a lot longer and the Tailwind Create program churned out a whole bunch of “suggested” pins for me to schedule. If you want to be a perfectionist, you could ideally take a screenshot of the pin and make it in Canva. Sometimes, the pin has a little too much detail, but 9 times out of 10 I take the pin right out of Tailwind and schedule it as is (without making any modifications. If you’re a blogger, I’d highly suggest that you check out this program.
I usually create anywhere from 5 – 20 pins per day. With this program, I can easily double my pins from 10 to 40 per day.
One of the best reasons to use Tailwind Create is to get new design ideas that you might not have even imagined were possible.

How it works.
- Insert the URL from where your pins are on your blog.
- Write the Title for your new pins that are going to be made available for you to schedule in Tailwind to a selected board of your choice.
- Select any additional pictures/pins that you want to upload from your PC. The more, the better!
- Generate your new pins to see lots of different designs.
- You can only select a maximum of five of your favorite pins at a time. But that doesn’t prevent you from doing the first round and then going back into the one you just created and select 5 more pins. By going to Browse Completed Sessions.
Pro Tip: If you decide you want to create more designs based on the settings that you’ve used, you can reuse your settings. Just return to the main Create screen and select Use Session inputs.
Personally I don’t like playing with the color palette but it’s doable.
Reasons that you’ll want to use Tailwind Create
- Use it for some of your old posts and bring them back to life
- It’s a time-saver to quickly and magically make more beautiful pins.
- Often, it’ll make a collage of your favorite pins.
- Look at new ideas and new designs
- A/B testing – see which pins get the most exposure
- Creativity – you don’t even have to be a graphic designer – simply select the pin(s) that you like and schedule them.
The Free plan only covers 15 designs. But there are two more plans available to purchase and create more pins per month (100 or 300/month).

Let’s take a detailed look at how it works right out of the box. Some of what I discussed above will be repeated a 2nd time for clarity.
Open Tailwind
Start off by opening Tailwind by visiting Tailwind.
Log in to your account
Enter your e-mail address and password.
For some reason, my browsers (Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome) do not open the Tailwind Create application. If this happens to you too, open Microsoft Edge and you shouldn’t have any problem.
Open Tailwind Create:
- Click on the Paintbrush (see below) or
2. In the far right of your Publisher, click on New! Design in Tailwind Create
You’ll see a flashing Tailwind emblem before
the Tailwind Create program initializes (see below).
Let the magic begin!
Here’s where the magic happens in Tailwind Create. To get started you’ll need add your pin’s primary information to have it start making your pins, such as:
- Destination URL Link (the title will be auto filled)
(be sure to edit the title if necessary) - If you have saved any pins that weren’t on the blog post, upload those pins. More is better. (Click on Upload Photos and go to the photo or photos you want to upload.) If you press and hold the Control button, you can select more than one photo to upload.
- If there are any stock photos that you want included in the batch, click on those photos.
Tip: Do not add photos that have a list on them, the list will get truncated so I wouldn’t “typically” suggest those types of photos in your batch.
For this example, I’m going to pick some pins from an old post.
In the DESTINATION LINK field, copy and paste or type your URL.
(i.e. – https://pinartwork.com/blogtober-day-10-1-favorite-big-bang-theory-character/)
This particular post didn’t have a lot of pins to choose from. However, it did provide a good amount of pins to select from (100). Here are the five pins I selected from the bunch. It just demonstrates that the more pins and photos you have, you’ll be provided with a better variation of pins to select from.
Tailwind Create will put the photos/pins that you selected into Drafts in your Publisher menu. You’ll need to select the board that you want it pinned to and provide a description. Lastly, click on > Add it Queue!
Below is another post that I want to embellish with pins that were created earlier today. It has a better quality of photos right from the start so I’m curious to see what’s going to be generated.

- Secondly, I’ll provide you with the new pins that were created from that post. As I mentioned before, more is better. My point I’m trying to illustrate is that with a wider variety of pins to put into the queue, you should get a better variety of pins. I can’t wait to see what it will produce.
