What is Blogtober?
Blogtober is an annual event for bloggers. It’s one of the best ways for how to grow your Blog
It’s a blogging event held in the month of every October where participating bloggers blog every day the entire month! Yes, every day!
The Blogtober Challenge from last year (2020) brought me so much traffic that it has become my number #1 Pinterest Board with over 2 million Pinterest Impressions within the last 90 days. And to this day I still get traffic from those old posts.
10 Ideas for organizing your Garage
1 and 2 – The first two sites that I visited were 17 Must Have Garage Organizing Ideas and 15 Tips for Organizing your Garage. The one idea that I especially liked within the 1st one (17 Garage ideas) is called: DIY Smart Rolling Storage, their second suggestion. It’s so nice that I’m adding it to this post.
DIY Smart Rolling Storage units (from 17 Must Have Garage Organizing Ideas)
The one idea that I liked from 15 Tips for Organizing your Garage is the one (Idea #7) that deals with using pegboards.
3 and 4 – The next two that we’ll look at that both contain 18 ideas for organizing your garage workshop are 18 Garage Organization Tips & Tricks and 18 Mind Blowing Garage Organization Ideas you’ll wish you knew sooner.
We’ve already looked at two of the pins that 18 Garage Organization Tips and Tricks and here’s one more pin from the same site that I thought was worth adding to this post.
The idea that inspired me the most (from the one on the left) was #15: Choose a Corner for Organization. Where you pick a corner of your garage and this has prompted me to think about reorganizing my garage where the workbench is centered in the garage instead of being a corner where I’d be able to utilize more space in the garage if I were to move it to another location. Hats off to this inspirational pin.
The other pin leads to the same site and since I’m there I wanted to see if I could find one more good picture to help organize your garage and I found it (pictured below). The name of the picture is Easy DIY Screwdriver Storage Shelf (Idea #6).
5 and 6 – Moving right along, we’re halfway through the 10 sites that I wanted to look at on 10 Ideas for organizing your Garage. So let’s look at another two pins (pictured below). These two pins also feature something that I would like to have which are portable tool caddies.
The one on the left (Build a Portable Tool Caddy) is from howtonestforless.com and features 20 easy organization ideas for your home. Here’s a link to the website for instructions on how to build a portable tool caddy.
The one on the right (“Ugh and Wow”) is from hometipsforwomen.com. What I exceptionally liked from this website was the portable tool caddy that is pictured to the far right in the images below. There’s a link on the page to build a rolling cart, but unfortunately it’s not the one pictured. You’d have to modify the two ends with adding pegboard. If you’re interested in building a portable tool caddy you might want to check out the Portable Tool Caddy Plans.
7 and 8 – The next two up on the post to look at are 10 quick and easy tips for keeping your garage organized and 38 ways to improve your garage. Unfortunately, the first pin didn’t lead to an actual blog post, it lead to another Pinterest Board. But I have seen some of these images before so I’ll be on the hunt for some of these items that were depicted in the picture.
That was easy so I’m moving to image #8 for 38 ways to improve your garage. I completely struck out on using these two pins that looked promising. This post has this image is no longer available on the site which tends me to believe that there’s some sort of problem with the site and their images. Bummer. Well, I won’t be adding these two pins to Pinterest. But I do want to keep them for inspiration as I look for more garage ideas.
9 and 10 – I’m down to the last two pins that I want to take a look at so I hope I have better luck on these last two pins.
The first one (on the left) is 50 Cheap and Easy Garage Organization Ideas. The other one (on the right) is awesome garage organization and space saving tips. I didn’t see anything that I wanted to highlight on the first website.
The one pin that I liked on the 2nd website (Awesome …) is the one to have extra workspace in your garage. If you’d like something like that for your garage here’s a link to steer you in the right direction to order your fold-down workbench.
